I used GP EDGE for more than a year. I was a really happy user because it served me with average 20KBps speed with only 850tk + VAT. But from last month [September 2008], I am not getting that much download speed. My phone is SonyEricsson k550i. And it shows the data connectivity bandwidth GPRS / EDGE on the screen. That is, when I insert a Teletalk SIM, it shows ‘G’ and when I insert the GP SIM, it shows ‘E’. From September 2008, it shows ‘G’ on my GP connection. But if I step out of my home and go just 10 meters further, it becomes ‘E’. My net connection is very very slow now, about 5-6KBps speed. I called the so called ’state of the art’ GP customer care about 10 times or more. But all they told me is to wait. They always tell me that “Our network division is working with your problem. please wait a bit more…”. In the last day, they told me, “GP EDGE average speed is 4KBps. So, if you are getting 5-6 KBps, you should not complain.” I was just stunned at her talkings. I told her, “I am using this connection in this area for more than a year, I know what is the average speed of GP EDGE is”. She replied that, “May be in your area the number of customers increased”. Then I told her, “Yeah, may be number of customers has increased, but how come that decreasing bandwidth of my internet connection. Bandwidth is not changed by number of customers. As your bandwidth is shared, I might get less amount of share and thus less speed. But why my badwidth is GPRS, why not its EDGE??” She could not give me any answer and told me to wait a few more days. What I discovered from this bullshit incident that all GP’s ads and other bluffs are completely lies. It has the worst customer care of all. I am an electrical engineer, thats why I knew that number of subscribers CANNOT reduce total bandwidth, but if I was not an engineer, then I had to believe them and could not protest against the customer care.

Anyway, I am still waiting for everything to be as before. I will wait this month only. Then I WILL switch to another ISP, because I don’t want to give this f***ing company 850tk a month for only 5-6KBps speed.

শালার, বাংলাদেশের সবচেয়ে হারামী কোম্পানী মনে হয় এই জিপি।

im use gp internet but dont pay bill and use 500 tk cradit limit.

cradit limit - 500 tk

activate edge p2 - 850+vat = janina

full use

and drop this sim. delete this num from mobile book.

wants to know how much i do that - 40.000 tk

its a little bit of amount but its a amount.

now im happy …. use gp - and u know !
